Bone Cancer

The cancer that initiates in the cells that make the bones in the body is called the bone cancer. Occurring more commonly in children than adults or adolescents these are of many different types. They can either begin in the lymph and may or may not spread to the bone or can also be caused by the tumor growth occurring in the cells of the bone marrow.

The most common bone tumors include Ewing's sarcoma, osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, and chordoma. The pain in bones that may last for years and bone weakening are some of the initial symptoms of this deadly disease.
